Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking a Senior Buyer in Phoenix, AZ to procure goods and services supporting operations, projects, and customer programs. The role manages supplier relationships, quotations, POs, onboarding, and procurement activities across technology, construction and installation services, equipment, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and negotiations.
• Experience procuring services, equipment, materials, or project-related spend.
• Experience supporting supplier onboarding or qualification processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services to support operations, projects, and customers.
• Review requisitions, obtain quotes, evaluate pricing, and issue POs.
• Manage purchasing across technology, services, equipment, and operations.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to meet cost and service goals.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and qualification with Finance and Legal.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor open POs and expedite deliveries to meet timelines.
• Support supplier diversity initiatives and reporting.
• Maintain records in Oracle, ServiceNow, and other procurement systems.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and controls.
