Job summary

Carvana in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Manager to lead Talent Acquisition for Operations. You will build, develop and guide a high-volume recruiting team to meet staffing targets and partner with business leaders to understand hiring needs.

You'll drive full lifecycle recruiting, coach leaders, analyze data, and optimize sourcing strategies to hire top talent for Carvana’s growth and culture of impact and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including leadership recruiting.
• 3+ years leading a team.
• Experience using virtual recruitment (social media, LinkedIn, resume sourcing).
• Experience with an ATS, preferably Greenhouse.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to coach and motivate others with strong influencing skills.
• Energy and drive to meet deadlines and find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day full life-cycle recruiting for Operations.
• Inspire and lead recruiting team to meet KPIs and targets.
• Train and guide team on recruitment strategies.
• Review data to identify trends and improve recruiting effectiveness.
• Maintain weekly/monthly staffing and candidate pipeline reports.
• Onboard new team members and support local training.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate needs.
• Develop sourcing toolbox and screen resumes against required skills.
• Support leadership job requisitions from source to hire.
• Ensure a candidate-centric approach and strong employer brand.
• Partner with Talent Development and HR to translate needs into hires.
• Explore new ways to improve recruitment processes.
