This on-site role collaborates with planning, engineering, and receiving to resolve supply issues and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in purchasing or related admin work, a degree or equivalent, and strong Excel skills plus experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in purchasing, supply chain, or related admin role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities in accordance with production schedules and inventory requirements
• Communicate with suppliers on order status, delivery dates, and supply issues or discrepancies
• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Support supplier data entry and maintenance in IFS ERP system
• Assist in reviewing RFQ packages and gathering quotes from approved suppliers
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Receiving to resolve supply issues
• Identify alternate suppliers or components when lead times are at risk
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation
• Other duties as assigned
