Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 1–3 years in purchasing or procurement, industrial distribution preferred.
• Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders to meet customer demand and maintain stock levels.
• Negotiate price, discounts, and alternative products to reduce costs.
• Monitor supplier backorders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Process monthly rebates submissions to select suppliers.
• Maintain efficient inventory using replenishment methods like Min/Max/EOQ.
• Assist in vendor returns to minimize freight expenses.
• Build and maintain positive supplier relationships and internal stakeholder communication.
