Responsibilities

• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Support supplier data entry and maintenance in IFS ERP system
• Assist in reviewing RFQ packages and gathering quotes from approved suppliers
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Receiving to resolve supply issues
• Identify alternate suppliers or components when lead times are at risk
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Position Overview

Position Location: On-site, Benshaw, 615 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238

Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours

Job Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities in accordance with production schedules and inventory requirements
• Communicate with suppliers on order status, delivery dates, and any supply issues or discrepancies
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery
• Support supplier data entry and maintenance in IFS ERP system
• Assist in reviewing RFQ packages and gathering competitive quotes from approved suppliers
• Work collaboratively with internal teams including Planning, Engineering, and Receiving to resolve supply issues
• Help identify alternate suppliers or components when lead times are at risk
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ year of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a related administrative role preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
