Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is seeking a Mid-Level Reengineering Specialist to support business process reengineering, workflow modernization, and operational improvement initiatives in Bethesda, MD. The role collaborates with stakeholders and technical teams to assess processes, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable, practical solutions.

The position emphasizes structured reviews, current- and future-state workflow design, documentation, and the identification of automation

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant professional experience in process improvement or reengineering.
Experience conducting current-state workflow assessments and identifying bottlenecks.
Ability to map future-state workflows and document end-to-end processes.
Experience facilitating stakeholder sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured reviews of existing workflows and identify inefficiencies.
Support and facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions.
Document end-to-end process activities and handoffs.
Identify bottlenecks, delays, and operational inefficiencies; analyze root causes.
Contribute to future-state workflow design and automation opportunities.
Develop SOPs, workflow charts, and responsibility matrices.
Participate in pilot testing and refinement of redesigned processes.
