Job summary

Bank of America in Pennington, NJ is seeking a Process Design Consultant II to lead complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives within Wealth Management Operations. You will apply process analysis, organizational design, and data analytics to uncover opportunities, mitigate risks, and deliver measurable improvements across Lines of Business.

This senior role requires 3+ years in process design and strategic planning, strong executive presence, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process design experience including process, organization, and technology.
• 3+ years of strategic planning, business model innovation, and business case development.
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced process mapping and modeling skills using tools such as Visio
• Expertise in storytelling and presentation, both written and verbal.
• Avid learner comfortable navigating new situations
• Skilled at managing high degrees of complexity

Responsibilities

• Implements moderately complex solutions to address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls, quality, and sustainability
• Works directly with Line of Business partners to gather information needed to identify and implement solutions that resolve critical business challenges and opportunities
• Establishes and implements a model for continuous process improvement by applying process engineering best practices and delivering reusable technology solutions
• Leverages analytics and critical thinking to solve complex business problems and translate issues into structured design oriented solutions with clearly defined business case benefits
• Leads the development of enterprise change management deliverables for material projects including project charters, SIPOC, RACI maps, risk assessments, control plans, and related artifacts
• Lead strategic initiatives that span multiple Lines of Business and influence enterprise‑wide transformation.
• Evaluate current state processes, organizational structures, and technologies to identify improvement opportunities.
• Raise attention around risk and obstacles uncovered during analysis and propose mitigation strategies.
• Use advanced data analytics and visualization tools to develop sound target state solutions.
• Build and present compelling business cases to senior leadership.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior process designers to strengthen the Operational Excellence program.
• Engage with executive stakeholders to socialize analysis, status, and strategic recommendations.
