Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst to join our team on site in El Segundo, CA. The role involves high‑quality analysis of supplier proposals for cost estimates and working with cross‑functional teams to prepare PCARs.

Clearance and SAP considerations apply. Responsibilities include evaluating proposals using various estimating techniques, assisting in negotiations, and ensuring timely, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related discipline with 5 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 3 years related experience.
• Knowledge of statistical and forecasting concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
• Active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a price and cost analysis to evaluate labor rates, overheads, and other factors and incorporate findings into PCAR.
• Conduct cost estimating/pricing reviews and analysis per industry practices and customer requirements.
• Develop cost estimating models from market data and historical information to assess price reasonableness and negotiation positions.
• Prepare and present data for Supply Chain Management reviews to establish negotiation positions and support subcontract management.
• Maintain records and data used in support of proposals.
