Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst to join our team on-site in El Segundo, CA (also Palmdale or Rancho Bernardo). You will analyze supplier proposals to support GSC cost estimates and prepare PCARs, collaborating with Contracts, Pricing, Engineering and Program Management.

The role requires complex analysis, planning, and the ability to work with diverse teams to deliver compliant, timely PCARs and support customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience; or master’s with 3 years.
• Knowledge of statistical and forecasting concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Active U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with investigation within 5 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a price and cost analysis to evaluate direct/indirect labor rates, overheads, and expenses in supplier proposals.
• Conduct cost estimating/pricing reviews and analysis following industry practices and customer requirements.
• Research market/historical data and develop cost estimating models to evaluate price reasonableness.
• Gather information from sources to stay informed on regulations and price trends.
• Engage with suppliers to understand factors affecting prices and review basis of estimates.
