Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Price/Cost Proposal Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal (Level 4) to join our team on site in El Segundo, Palmdale or Rancho Bernardo, CA. You will analyze supplier proposals and produce high-quality PCARs to support GSC cost estimates and negotiations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, forecasting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Contracts, Pricing & Estimating, Engineering, and Program Management to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 3 years.
• Knowledge of statistical and forecasting concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
• Active U.S. Government Secret (or higher) clearance or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a price and cost analysis to evaluate labor, overheads, and other factors and document in PCAR.
• Conduct cost estimating/pricing reviews following industry practices and customer requirements.
• Develop cost estimating models and negotiate with subcontractors to determine price reasonableness.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Pricing & Estimating, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain.
• Prepare and present data for SCM reviews and subcontract management activities.
