Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Diego is hiring a Sr. Portfolio Business Analyst to lead recurring portfolio operations, drive improvements, and enable senior leaders with decision-ready reporting.

Candidate will partner with Portfolio Strategy, Data & Analytics, Finance, and Program Delivery to optimize planning, resource management, and reporting., ensuring accuracy, scalability, and timely execution within a dynamic entertainment technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in portfolio operations, business operations, operational reporting, or business analysis.
• Ability to own and execute recurring operational processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience collecting, validating, consolidating information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
• Strong business and data acumen to identify issues and inform improvements.
• Experience producing high-quality portfolio or operational reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, OnePlan, Power Apps or similar platforms.
• Experience developing operational documentation, procedures, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Independently own and execute recurring portfolio operational processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect, validate, consolidate, and maintain portfolio information across stakeholders and source systems.
• Own operational execution and quality of resource management activities and portfolio cost reporting.
• Administer Time Editor processes including onboarding, communications, and compliance monitoring.
• Produce recurring portfolio reports and operational deliverables, validating information for decision-ready outputs.
• Develop and maintain operational controls, templates, and checklists for scalable execution.
• Identify gaps or exceptions and drive follow-up with stakeholders.
• Translate operational needs into business requirements and test tooling enhancements.
• Identify improvements to standardize and reduce manual effort.
