  • Identify risks, gaps, and exceptions and drive resolution with limited oversight.
  • Experience consolidating information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
  • Strong business and data acumen to inform improvements.
  • Experience producing portfolio or operational reporting and translating inputs into clear information.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, OnePlan, Power Apps or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing operational documentation and training materials.
  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or software industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive resolution with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Portfolio Enablement to translate needs into business requirements and test tooling enhancements.
  • Identify improvements to standardize processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort.

Sr. Portfolio Business Analyst
San Diego, CA

The Sr. Portfolio Business Analyst is responsible for the effective execution and continuous improvement of recurring Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) operations. The role independently owns operational processes and controls that support portfolio planning, portfolio review operations, resource management, and portfolio reporting, ensuring work is accurate, timely, scalable, and consistently executed.

The role applies operational judgment to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies; resolve issues across functional partners; and improve how recurring portfolio work is executed. The role partners closely with Portfolio Strategy, Portfolio Data & Analytics, Portfolio Enablement, Finance, Program Delivery, and other cross‑functional partners to strengthen portfolio operations and enable senior team members to focus on strategic planning, portfolio decision support, and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Independently own and execute recurring portfolio operational processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent delivery while resolving operational issues and exceptions.
  • Collect, validate, consolidate, and maintain portfolio information across multiple stakeholders and source systems, proactively identifying and resolving data gaps, inconsistencies, and exceptions.
  • Own the operational execution and quality of recurring resource management activities, including resource estimates, resource actuals, PMA operational support, and portfolio cost reporting.
  • Administer Time Editor processes, including onboarding/offboarding, recurring communications, compliance monitoring, exception resolution, and follow‑up activities.
  • Produce recurring portfolio reports and operational deliverables, applying judgment to validate information, identify issues, and ensure outputs are accurate, complete, timely, and decision‑ready.
  • Develop and maintain operational controls, documentation, templates, checklists, work instructions, and other mechanisms that enable consistent and scalable execution.
  • Monitor recurring portfolio operations, proactively identify gaps or exceptions, and drive required follow‑up and resolution across stakeholders.
  • Partner with Portfolio Enablement to translate operational needs and process gaps into business requirements, validate solutions, and lead operational testing and adoption of tooling enhancements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to recurring portfolio operations through standardization, simplification, stronger controls, and reduced manual effort.
  • Develop and maintain the operational knowledge, documentation, and training needed to support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and continuity of recurring portfolio operations.
  • Use operational data and trends to assess process health, identify recurring issues and root causes, and recommend or implement improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–7 of experience in portfolio operations, business operations, operational reporting, business analysis, or a related operational function.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own and execute recurring operational processes with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify operational risks, gaps, and exceptions, exercise sound judgment, and drive issues through resolution with limited oversight.
  • Experience collecting, validating, consolidating, and maintaining information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
  • Strong business and data acumen, with the ability to use operational data and trends to identify issues, assess process health, and inform improvements.
  • Experience producing high‑quality portfolio or operational reporting and translating complex inputs into clear, accurate, decision‑ready information.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in an environment with evolving requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency, quality, consistency, or scalability.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience supporting portfolio operations, strategic planning operations, resource management, or business operations within a complex organization.
  • Experience supporting recurring resource, financial, reporting, or operational processes.
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications such as Jira, ServiceNow, OnePlan, Power Apps, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing operational documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Experience in the gaming, entertainment, technology, or software industry is preferred.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
