Job summary

Newrez, a leading residential mortgage services company, seeks a Portfolio Manager to oversee client relationships, servicing oversight, and strategy implementation for key 3rd party mortgage clients. You will drive profitability and ensure efficient operations across the portfolio.

The role requires 3+ years in Mortgage Servicing, strong communication, and analytical skills, plus proficiency in Excel. Onsite work in Coppell, TX with opportunities to shape client campaigns and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline.
• 3+ years of Mortgage Servicing experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Excel; PowerPoint and Visio a plus.
• SQL experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a group of 3rd party mortgage clients.
• Design and implement value-add business strategies and client campaigns.
• Monitor operational risk metrics and resolve issues.
• Oversee delegation requests for clients and ensure timely responses.
• Track incoming transfers and complete required GSE forms.
• Oversee repurchases with prior servicers.
• Oversee monthly GSE invoice management and root-cause analysis.
• Present ideas to staff and senior management.
• Manage portfolio P&Ls and negotiate fee schedules.
• Assist in assimilating new third-party clients.
• Review Servicing Agreements for risks with Legal.
• Improve operational efficiency by formatting data for easy querying.
• Lead onsite visits.
