Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with four years' experience in leadership role, or Bachelor's with six years and three in leadership.
• Regular attendance and valid driver's license if County vehicles are used.
• Thorough knowledge of policy, analysis, and communication in the public sector.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Directs county-wide internal and external communications and engagement.
• Oversees the county’s strategic plan and legislative agenda.
• Leads development of public communications, website, media relations, and employee communications.
• Advises elected officials on policy and analysis.
• Mentors and supervises staff and manages performance.
