Job summary

Olmsted County Public Health Services seeks a Public Health Strategist 2 to lead community health assessment and planning efforts. You will analyze diverse health data, develop strategic metrics, and drive improvements in population health outcomes across the county.

You will coordinate partnerships, prepare reports and educational materials, and mentor teams while advancing a culture of quality improvement and equitable health services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, public administration, business administration, statistics, or related field and three years of experience in a similar position.
• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, public administration, business administration, statistics, or related field and one year of experience in a similar position.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to seven years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and oversight of complex public health processes and systems.
• Analyze public health data from multiple sources and develop strategic metrics and goals.
• Coordinate community health assessment and improvement planning.
• Develop reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners to identify health disparities and drive improvement.
