Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a Project Manager IV within the Behavioral Health Services Division. Reporting within the Strategy and Operations department, this position performs complex, senior-level project management work to support divisional priorities, strategic initiatives and improvement efforts.

The Project Manager IV performs project management work, coordinating planning, monitoring progress, and developing plans to communicate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant work experience in project management or public administration.
• Experience coordinating complex projects within healthcare or public sector preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor projects from initiation through completion.
• Communicate with stakeholders, manage risks, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
• Provide guidance to staff and ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
• Support divisional priorities and drive continuous process improvements.
