Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission in Austin, TX seeks a Manager IV to lead the Regional Office Support Group and drive IT service delivery. You will oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with HHSC standards and cross‑functional collaboration with customers and vendors.

The role emphasizes staff development, budgeting, and ensuring cost‑effective, compliant technology solutions across enterprise systems. Telework may be eligible per agency policy.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience leading a technical team or project.
• 5 years experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11/10 in LAN/WAN.
• 2 years experience in Active Directory.
• 2 years experience in ticket resolution (Remedy/Helix).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Regional Office Support Group.
• Provide technical direction on HHSC architecture and standards to staff and customers.
• Assist with contract management and vendor management activities.
• Advise customers and ensure service levels meet objectives.
• Oversee staff performance, budgeting, and resource planning.
