Job summary

The Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Special Projects Management Analyst IV to drive complex initiatives, automate workflows, and coordinate fiscal note tracking during the Texas legislative session.

The role requires strong project management and business-analysis skills, with daily collaboration across finance, budget, IT, and stakeholder teams, and it offers telework eligibility and a compensation range of $6,000 to $7,916 per month.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Three years of experience performing project management, management analysis, or business analysis work is preferred.
• Experience documenting business processes, system requirements, and test results is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and coordinate special projects involving new systems, tech solutions, automated workflows, and business processes.
• Analyze current operations to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or standardization.
• Coordinate fiscal note tracking and collaborate with finance, budget, and government relations staff.
