Job summary

Workday seeks a Senior Principal, Product Strategist to partner across the organization, defining the Platform's product strategy and guiding investments and corporate development decisions. Reports to the VP of Platform Strategy and Operations.

You will collaborate with Platform leadership to shape strategic initiatives, engage with engineers on architecture, and drive prioritized outcomes that align with Workday's long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Fifteen or more years of experience in product strategy or leadership within an enterprise platform.
• Proven ability to define and execute multi-year enterprise platform strategies at global scale.
• Experience evaluating and executing M&A and managing strategic partnerships to support growth.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to engage with engineering on platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define, evangelize and maintain a unified product strategy for the Platform Organization.
• Identify and assess new market, customer and business opportunities for strategic decisions.
• Lead product workstreams for M&A from initial assessment through integration.
• Advise Platform leadership on product vision and investment priorities.
• Align roadmaps with Platform Organization objectives and operating model.
• Collaborate with Finance to monitor investment principles and success metrics.
• Represent Platform in cross-functional forums to align with Workday's strategy.
