Job summary

Augmentis is assisting our client, a publicly traded global manufacturer of aero and industrial gas turbine components, in recruiting a strategic Finance Business Partner to partner with the Plant Manager and drive financial excellence at a major Michigan facility.

You will lead forecasting and reporting, build economic models, oversee capital approvals, ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and mentor the finance team while advancing cost accounting and manufacturing optimization.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration and/or Finance/Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of related financial/controllership work experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Plant Manager to drive financial excellence at a manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with Information Systems, Procurement, and Accounting to ensure robust manufacturing systems.
• Build economic models to evaluate investments, cost savings opportunities, and product line decisions.
• Lead forecasting, planning, and reporting processes; manage capital appropriation and post-project reviews.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley controls; lead finance team.
