Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Plant Controller to provide strategic financial guidance and oversight for plant assets at our Florence, SC facility. The role drives cost reduction, profitability improvement, and ROI through robust controls and data-driven insights.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset accounting, and capital project analyses, collaborating with plant management to optimize performance across the operations. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, major in Accounting or Finance or BBA Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with recent responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight for plant assets.
• Develop and monitor processes to safeguard company resources and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management decisions.
• Coordinate fixed asset accounting, inventories, and capital project cost tracking.
• Analyze operating costs to increase profitability and ROI; travel to facilities as needed.
