Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Program Manager for the Northeast Purchasing Coalition (NPC) & Pharmacy Business Strategy. The role leads multiple pharmacy initiatives, driving cost savings, revenue growth, operational excellence, and innovation across the health system.

You will provide data-driven insights for purchasing decisions, contract strategy, and implementation planning while mentoring pharmacy staff and collaborating with system partners to achieve measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting and 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of NPC pharmacy initiatives with alignment to goals, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Lead drug use optimization and pharmaceutical expense management strategies to deliver cost savings and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with system partners to evaluate opportunities for growth and expansion of pharmacy services.
• Mentor and develop staff, residents, and learners through project oversight and professional development.
• Promote accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across programs and projects.
