Job summary

Cook County Government is seeking a Performance Management Analyst to analyze performance metrics and guide policy decisions within the Department of Research, Operations, and Innovation. The role requires applying performance measurement and data visualization to improve services across county programs.

The position emphasizes collaboration with multiple bureaus, use of PowerBI/Tableau, and experience with government operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and 2 years of relevant experience in operations, data analysis, or policy.
Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Experience with government programs or change management preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze performance measurements and make policy recommendations regarding department performance.
Develop strategies to address operational inefficiencies, create cost savings, and improve employee performance by analyzing organizational planning, operations, staffing requirements, incorporating user experience design and research, human centered design, and data development, analysis and visualization methods.
Establish and maintain communication with departmental performance management liaisons, answer inquiries, and inform contacts of changes in policies or practices.
