Job summary

Cook County Government is seeking a HRIS analyst to assist HR technology initiatives, perform administration and reporting tasks, validate data, and respond to end-user queries. You will create documentation, develop procedures, and train users to ensure accurate HR data and efficient system usage.

The role supports HRIS operations, reporting needs, and audit preparation within a hybrid county office environment located in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Two (2) years of HRIS, HR technology, or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support HR technology initiatives including design, analysis, testing, reporting and training.
• Support HRIS day-to-day functions: administration, reporting, data validation, documentation and testing.
• Respond to end-user questions and provide documentation to support responses.
• Create and maintain queries and reports using system reporting tools and Excel.
• Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation; provide training as requested.
