Job summary

Cook County seeks a seasoned program manager to plan and deliver organizational objectives through program development and day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with bureau and department leadership to oversee initiatives from inception to closeout and ensure timely submission of performance reports.

You will guide sub-recipients, oversee policy updates, and manage data entry across systems while building internal capacity and coordinating across functional areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Five years of program/project management experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience acceptable.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver on organization objectives through program development and management.
• Collaborate with leadership to oversee programs and initiatives in development, coordination, submission, and implementation of plans.
• Manage all aspects of Bureau/Department programs from initiation through closeout.
• Oversee policy manual development, revisions, and implementations in coordination with functional areas.
• Coordinate entry of accomplishment data, project completion, and program closeout data in systems.
