Job summary

Optum seeks an Account Executive (AE), Client Management to manage a defined client portfolio across the U.S. You will drive growth, retention and strategic planning while leading inside sales efforts and coordinating with sales, operations and clients to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, PBM knowledge and the ability to identify up-sell opportunities. You may travel up to 25% and work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in PBM client management and pharmacy benefits implementation guidelines.
• Experience managing PBM and client management for low to mid-tier companies (5000 employees).
• Experience using RxClaim to validate service delivery of Pharmacy Benefits.
• Claims validation experience; strong MS Excel skills for data handling and basic charts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for client satisfaction, retention and growth.
• Lead inside sales upsells and manage renewals.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and the client to align objectives.
• Provide leadership for client projects and implementations.
• Provide regular communication to management on client concerns and feedback.
• Travel to client sites may be required.
• Interfaces with internal Optum departments.
• Assist in marketing of sales strategies; product/service information.
• Maintain client business plan.
