Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum unit seeks an Account Executive, Client Management to oversee a portfolio across a defined region. You will lead inside sales, drive client retention, growth, and plan execution while coordinating with sales, operations and the client.

The role requires in-depth PBM knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 25%. You may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PBM Client Management experience and Pharmacy benefits implementation guidelines.
• Experience with RxClaim to validate service delivery of Pharmacy Benefits.
• MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency for reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall accountability for client satisfaction, retention and growth.
• Identify upsell opportunities and add value to clients’ operations.
• Maintain knowledge of clients’ business and their contract with Optum.
• Provide leadership for new client projects and implementations.
• Communicate client concerns and feedback to management.
• Travel to client sites may be required.
