Job summary

Life Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Supervisor in our Finance department to oversee weekly payroll processing, ensure accurate, timely pay, and maintain compliance with federal and state laws.

The role serves as payroll SME and leads the payroll team while coordinating with HR and Finance to support organizational objectives. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a solid Excel/HRIS background, and at least five years of payroll experience in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible payroll experience, including high-volume processing.
• Experience with hourly workforce payroll and complex pay components such as overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, garnishments, and leave administration; accuracy and confidentiality essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll/timekeeping/HRIS software; excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise weekly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead Payroll staff with coaching, training, performance management, and workload prioritization.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, IRS regulations, and wage and hour laws.
• Administer payroll tax reporting, withholdings, and benefit deductions; support year-end activities.
• Reconcile payroll registers and GL accounts in collaboration with Finance; maintain internal controls.
• Provide payroll training to managers and employees on policies and timekeeping procedures.
