Job summary
Waymo is seeking a senior business development leader to shape partnerships and go-to-market strategies in the telecom ecosystem. You will drive high-impact collaborations with mobile network operators and other partners to scale Waymo's commercial deployments.
You will partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to translate technical capabilities into commercial contracts and roadmaps, while guiding executive-level engagements with carriers and partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years in business development or strategic partnerships.
- At least 3+ years in telecommunications, MNOs, or connected vehicle/IoT.
- Ability to translate engineering/product requirements into commercial contracts.
- Senior executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships with telecom operators and ecosystem partners.
- Manage relationships with telecom executives, drive joint reviews and co-innovation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to ensure feasibility and deployment.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to advance fleet safety, reliability, and scalability.
