Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior leader in Business Development and Strategic Partnerships to drive the company’s global commercial strategy. You will negotiate strategic partnerships with telco ecosystems, align product and legal teams, and shape go-to-market roadmaps for autonomous vehicle collaborations.

The role requires 8+ years in BD/partnerships, strong executive presence, and deep knowledge of cellular technologies and carrier business models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams translating engineering/product requirements into commercial contracts.
• Senior executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and VP-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and execute strategic commercial and technical partnerships with telecom ecosystem players.
• Serve as primary partnership manager for telecom executives, driving reviews and long-term co-innovation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to ensure feasibility and smooth deployment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities to advance fleet safety, reliability, and scalability.
