Job summary

Waymo is recruiting for a hybrid Senior Business Development and Strategic Partnerships role in the United States. You will source and negotiate strategic partnerships with mobile network operators and other organizations, and manage relationships with telecom executives to drive ongoing collaboration and co-innovation roadmaps.

The role requires 8+ years in BD/strategic partnerships with 3+ years in telecommunications or connected vehicle ecosystems, plus strong cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships or corporate strategy.
• At least 3+ years in telecom, MNO, or connected vehicle/IoT ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and execute strategic commercial and technical partnerships with telecom operators and related organizations.
• Serve as the primary partnership manager for telecom executives, driving reviews, relationship health, and co-innovation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to ensure feasibility and deployment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities to advance fleet safety, reliability, and scalability.
