Zymo Research Corporation is seeking Partnership Managers, Business Development to foster growth through strategic partnerships across academic, biotech, clinical, and government markets. This is a customer-facing role emphasizing value-based engagement, opportunity creation, and long-term partnership execution.

You will work with Scientific Collaboration, Sales, Product, and Operations to originate new business, expand accounts, and translate customer needs into scalable commercial outcomes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred depending on level.
• Experience in business development, partnerships, or account management.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel commensurate with role scope.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and advance new commercial and partnership opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing customer and partner relationships.
• Drive run-rate revenue through upsell, cross-sell, and workflow expansion.
• Build and present business cases, proposals, and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate internal resources to support deal execution and customer success.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
