Job summary

MEDZOWN-Precision Medicine & Care Navigation is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand our network of Clinical Trial Partnerships. You will be the face of Medzown to CROs, SMOs, research sites, and sponsors, opening doors and turning conversations into lasting collaborations.

This full-time role requires entrepreneurial drive, hands-on coordination of partnerships, and the ability to stand up the operational side of a collaboration once a deal signs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within CROs, SMOs, clinical research sites, or pharmaceutical/biotech sponsors.
• Established network across CRO/SMO/pharma landscape or ability to build one quickly.
• Working knowledge of clinical trial lifecycle, site feasibility, patient recruitment, and protocol/referral processes.
• Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnership agreements.
• Strong project management and communication skills with clinical, scientific, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with CROs, SMOs, research sites, and pharmaceutical sponsors to generate clinical trial opportunities.
• Develop creative outreach and engagement strategies to build a diversified partnership pipeline.
• Lead partnership conversations from first contact through agreement, including scoping, proposals, and negotiation support.
• Implement and manage handoffs for new partnerships, ensuring protocols and referral workflows are properly set up, and maintain post-signature relationship management.
