This is a customer-facing role emphasizing value-based engagement, opportunity creation, and long-term partnership execution.

You will work with Scientific Collaboration, Sales, Product, and Operations to originate new business, expand accounts, and translate customer needs into scalable commercial outcomes,

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred depending on level.
• Experience in business development, partnerships, or account management.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Commercialization Team! Zymo Research is seeking Partnership Managers, Business Development to drive commercial growth through high-impact partnerships across academic, biotech, clinical, and government markets. This is a customer-facing, commercial role focused on value-based engagement, opportunity creation, and long-term partnership execution.

Unlike technical scientific roles, this position emphasizes commercial strategy, relationship management, and deal execution. Partnership Managers work closely with Scientific Collaboration Managers, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to originate new business, expand existing accounts, and translate customer needs into scalable commercial outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and advance new commercial and partnership opportunities.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $120,000-150,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
