Job summary

Above Consulting Inc. is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Associate to expand the client base and build strategic relationships in San Francisco and beyond.

You will work with the founder to identify opportunities with businesses, nonprofits, and public-sector organizations, developing partnerships and contracting opportunities while maintaining records and coordinating outreach and meetings. This is a flexible, part-time role with potential to grow into a larger opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and developing new professional relationships.
• Comfortable using email, LinkedIn, and common business productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
• Research and connect with prospective consulting and organizational clients.
• Build relationships with businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and proposals; help convert opportunities into contracts.
