Job summary

The San Francisco Foundation invites applications for an Associate Initiative Officer within The Partnership for the Bay’s Future. This limited-term, three-year role reports to the Director and supports program, administration, communications, and fundraising activities to advance the Partnership’s strategic goals.

Key duties include coordinating with leadership bodies, convening partners, and coordinating research to evaluate impact, while assisting with grant management and fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred; significant experience considered.
• Minimum of three years in non-profit, philanthropic or public sector roles.
• Experience with fundraising, marketing, communications, relationship building, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide backbone support to Leadership Council, Advisory Board and policy funds' working groups; coordinate with co-chairs to produce materials.
• Coordinate convenings and communications with community-based organizations, partners, local government, funders and stakeholders.
• Represent the Partnership in regional discussions and community meetings as needed.
• Assist in evaluating knowledge and research; track impact with the Director and evaluator.
• Support fundraising and administer day-to-day grant activities, including deliverables and reports.
