Job summary

Reactor is seeking an early Business Development & Partnerships hire in San Francisco to drive core partner relationships from day one. You will partner with the Head of BD & Partnerships to close agreements, manage accounts, and identify growth opportunities.

You will own the partner lifecycle, coordinate with legal, finance, and product, and help shape Reactor's partnerships strategy in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in business development, partnerships, or a comparable commercial role.
• Highly organized; nothing falls through.
• Comfortable reviewing agreements and asking the right questions.
• Clear, warm writing with partners and direct with internal teams.
• Proactive and decisive in follow-ups and introductions.
• Thrive in ambiguity and speed in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Contracting: move agreements from handshake to signature with legal/finance/ops support.
• Account management: own a set of partner relationships and coordinate with teams.
• Renewals and growth: anticipate renewals and expansions before they land on a calendar.
• Strategic partnerships: identify market directions and drive outreach to key partners.
• CRM: maintain our system of record with accurate pipeline data.
• Reporting: run weekly review and clearly state moves, blockers, and decisions.
