Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group in California seeks a seasoned sales professional to grow our packaging solutions business. You will identify opportunities, present capabilities, and collaborate on tailored products to boost customer satisfaction and profitability.

We seek a data-driven seller with a proven track record in solutions sales, strong communication, and a focus on customers. A BS in business is required, packaging industry experience preferred, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales and solutions sales with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in packaging industry is desired.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, market research and networking.
• Conduct sales presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations to showcase packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with team on development of customized packaging products and service solutions to increase customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Generate new business opportunities in assigned categories to grow sales and market share.
• Forecast sales projections, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.
• Stay current with market and customer trends to identify new sales opportunities.
• Ensure sales meet contribution margins and support GW’s business sustainability.
• Develop strategies to expand GW’s business and profitability, and define business plans for assigned category.
