Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Oracle Solution Architect to provide advisory and implementation services across client organizations. You’ll work with the Transformation team from day one to advance business objectives and enable confident moves.

You will lead full life cycle Oracle ERP projects, document requirements, design systems, and train users, while traveling as needed up to 40%. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, at least four years of cross-industry consulting and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Information Technology, MIS, or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function serving cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Minimum of 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle ERP or similar applications.
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, key metrics, and reports.
• Experience with application integration & back-end data connectivity applications.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership skills, able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents.
• Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
• Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases.
• Responsible for documenting business requirements, system design and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Help to create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption.
• Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Assist in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
