Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX is seeking a Sr. Director II, Support & Business Operations to lead strategic vision and execution for Operations Support, SCM/Logistics, and Sales/Business Operations.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Engineering to translate strategy into executable plans that drive growth and profitability. The role requires 20+ years experience with 12+ years in PM within a Network Telecommunication Service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; MBA strongly preferred.
• 20+ years of experience with 12+ years in project/program management within a Network Telecommunication Service organization.
• Certifications: Project Management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
• Deep understanding of Sales Operations and Operations support practices.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong leadership and financial acumen; ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the long-term vision and strategy for Operations Support, SCM/Logistics, and Sales/Business Operations.
• Foster cross-functional integration to ensure seamless project execution and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, leveraging automation and innovative methodologies.
• Manage the P&L for Support & Business Operations, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all projects and operations.
• Oversee training activities for customers, GC, and internal teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety processes across all projects.
• Develop and maintain reporting templates for project status, risks, and KPIs.
• Serve as owner/interface for operations, logistics, and business tools (SPMS, OV, SAP).
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across Samsung.
• Support Customer Account teams on revenue forecasting, tracking progress and risks; manage customer contracts and SOWs.
