Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Future Business Operations Strategy Director to build and lead a high-impact team focused on new business growth and strategic execution. This role owns a portfolio of opportunities and connects Finance with LOB leadership while standing up a new function from the ground up.

The successful candidate will recruit, hire, and develop the team, establish credibility with executives, and drive initiatives across multiple LOBs to maximize enterprise value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, strategic finance, or management consulting.
• Experience evaluating new opportunities with market analysis, due diligence, and financial/operational modeling.
• Experience leading initiatives across multiple business units in a large, matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the portfolio of new business opportunities with highest impact.
• Lead and develop team members; establish operating rhythms and ways of working.
• Align top strategic priorities with LOB leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Direct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify new models.
• Oversee due diligence and develop financial/operational models for opportunities.
• Partner with Finance early to align assumptions and ROI expectations.
• Drive跨-LOB initiatives like new leasing models or financing product differentiation.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and structured initiative management from concept to implementation.
