Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is seeking a Senior Associate, Operations & Strategic Planning to support the AVP and help execute strategies that enhance the philanthropy operation and fundraising revenues.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate calendars, budgets, reports, and confidential communications with donors, physicians, trustees, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; strong proofreading and numerical skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide calendar, mail, and office supplies management for the AVP, and prepare agendas and materials;
• Manage the division budget and reconcile expense reports and P-card charges;
• Prepare ad hoc reports for senior leadership;
• Coordinate policy revisions and prepare reports for leadership;
• Lead administrative staff meetings and coordinate administrative staff;
• Interact with donors, trustees, physicians, and volunteers on confidential matters;
• Support staff and provide back-up assistance as needed.
