Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the AVP and Director of Planned Giving. You will coordinate activities, assist with reporting, budgeting, and invoicing, and contribute to donor-based projects.
The role also supports prospect management and education programs, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.

The Senior Philanthropy Assistant provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President (AVP), Planned Giving and Director (D), Planned Giving. Major responsibilities include coordinating and tracking numerous activities for the Planned Giving (PG) team, reporting, budgeting, and managing a variety of projects, both programmatic and donor based. In addition, the Senior Assistant provides support for the team’s prospect management work and education program which includes collaboration meeting scheduling and preparation, calendar management, mailings lists, tracking, analysis, and invoicing.
Associate degree and/or administrative training degree required. As this level position is often considered a “base” for someone pursuing a career in Philanthropy, a bachelor’s degree is preferred. 1-3 years of administrative experience.
