Job summary

DAC, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the design, installation, verification and service of all company products across engineering, project management and technical services. You will forecast resources, monitor costs and drive continuous improvement in lead times and efficiency.

The role requires strong people management, budgeting and contractual knowledge, enabling you to oversee facilities, training, and customer relations while delivering profitable results.

Qualifications

• Five years of operations experience in engineering, installation and service.
• Eight years of operations in HVAC, BAS, Security or Building Services with management experience.
• Understanding of contract law, taxes, and construction contracts.
• Ability to manage people and coordinate total growth of the operations department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation, verification and service of all company products and services; direct staff across software, engineering, project management and technical services.
• Forecast equipment, manpower and budget requirements; monitor costs and labor performance; collaborate with PMs and Controller on cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Improve department performance, reduce errors, shorten lead times and optimize value chain efficiency.
• Develop relationships with customer management staff; enforce operations policies and daily planning.
