Job summary

DAC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee design, installation and service of company products. You will lead software, engineering, project management, and technical services, ensuring staff performance and revenue goals are met.

The role requires strong people management, budgets, and risk assessment capabilities to optimize overall operations for profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of operations experience in engineering, installation, and service of building technology systems with five years in management.
• Experience in HVAC, BAS, Security or professional building services with strong leadership.
• Ability to understand contract law, taxes, and construction contracts and manage budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff across software development, engineering, project management, installation and technical services to meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Forecast equipment, manpower and budget requirements for projects; monitor cost and labor performance and take corrective actions.
• Improve operational efficiency by reducing errors, go-backs, and lead times while optimizing cycle times across the value chain.
• Develop relationships with customer management and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Develop and enforce department policies, training, and scheduling; train staff and oversee performance reviews.
