Job summary

Steno is seeking a Senior Strategic Operations Manager to drive operational excellence through insights and execution. You’ll work with the Associate Director of Operations to transform data into actionable improvements and lead cross-functional projects that scale with the business.

Initially embedded in a single unit, you’ll evolve to shape core operational areas like Provider Operations or Production, delivering measurable impact as the company grows rapidly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience pairing analytical rigor with hands-on operational ownership.
• Experience in management consulting and two-sided marketplaces or legal tech is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, and visualization; proficient in Excel and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions and operational trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that tell meaningful stories about performance.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions and reveal optimization opportunities.
• Lead and manage complex operational projects from conception through completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across departments and stakeholders.
• Develop project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure accountability.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• Transform findings into structured improvement projects with clear outcomes.
• Manage process improvements and implement new workflows.
• Partner with operations leadership to drive multiple initiatives.
• Present findings and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
