Job summary

Steno is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to support financial operations and contribute to our growth trajectory. In this remote, full-time role you will work with the Director of Strategic Finance and cross-functional partners to build accurate financial models and strategic plans.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in investment banking or equivalent, a finance degree, strong communication skills, and a passion for startups.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining a financial model from end to end.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to work with a tech startup and contribute to company growth.
• Proficient with Mac and PC; comfortable learning new systems; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the company's financial models to support strategic decision‑making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and ad‑hoc analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Become a strategic partner to departments across the company to help drive data‑driven decision‑making.
• Manage incoming custom pricing requests and negotiations from the Sales team.
• Analyze pricing data and market trends to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
