Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the technical and operational functions across assigned offices in Florida. You will ensure compliance with company standards, manage staffing, training needs, and budget/P&L for your offices, overseeing 50-99 colleagues.

The role requires strong leadership, policy development, and collaboration with sales and client service teams. You will monitor performance, drive best practices, and guide teams to deliver quality services while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications preferred.
• Licenses as required.
• Ten years of related experience, including seven in claims management and four in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Overall operations management for all assigned locations/offices.
• Establishes policy and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements.
• Establishes business plan with goals and objectives for the partnership and locations/offices.
• Monitors management reports relating to the partner/office performance.
• Assists with the coordination of sales and client service efforts.
• Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
• Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
