Job summary

Midsized Pharmaceutical Company is seeking an Oncology Account Manager to cover the San Diego territory. The role focuses on driving sales, building relationships with key thought leaders and prescribers, and meeting patient needs in hematology/oncology product lines.

The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3 years in hematology or solid tumors, with a proven sales record and strong relationship networks in community and academic accounts within

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in hematology or solid tumors.
• Proven track record delivering results in hematology/oncology sales.
• Established relationships within community and academic accounts within the assigned geography, ideally Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets by influencing key thought leaders and prescribers within the territory.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing and resolving their needs promptly.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans for key accounts and customers to address patient needs.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Promote the company's hematology/oncology products to healthcare professionals.
• Provide educational support and resources to healthcare providers to enhance product knowledge and usage.
• Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
