Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the nutrition service within the dietary department of a long-term care facility in Roswell, NM. You will plan, direct, and supervise staff, ensure quality food service and nutrition care in compliance with regulations, and support residents' health through appropriate menus.

The role requires a CDM/CFPP/DTR or equivalent, an associate degree in food service management or hospitality, and prior supervisory experience in

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• CDM, CFPP or DTR certification or equivalent training.
• Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality from an accredited institution.
• Food service supervisory experience; 2+ years in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, control, and supervise functions and personnel in the dietary department.
• Provide nutrition care within scope under the direction of a Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Manage purchases, budgets, and monthly reports; stay within budget for foods and supplies.
• Communicate with dietitians, nursing, dietary staff, residents and families regarding nutrition care.
• Ensure care plans reflect resident assessments and dietary restrictions.
